Spent this morning working with a deeply impressive #cfo...

Backed by #privateequity, he has some seriously business-critical #presentations in the coming months.

His initial flow, while solid and credible, was...
(by his own admission!)

Packed with detail.
Dry.
Complex.
Rather flat in the delivery.
"Topic-driven" rather than "Message-led".

By approaching the content as if it were a "conversation", rather than a mere presentation, we were able to...

Strip out a fair bit of detail.
Bring content to life by introducing some micro-stories (human interest is key)
Simplify.
Enliven the delivery in an authentic way.
Focus on messages that are relevant for the listener, rather than recite topics that are merely true of the business.

The result?

Unsurprisingly, a somewhat more engaging listener experience.

Even I understand it... so it MUST be clear!

#business #content #publicspeaking #leadershipdevelopment #privateequity

Very interactive - the tone you set meant audience members were really engaged. I can understand why you get such great feedback for these sessions.
